Dear Friends,

It is a great pleasure to see that the World Peace Choral Festival has been held in Vienna every year, since 2010, with choirs from Austria, Armenia, Bulgaria, Canada, China (Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan), Estonia, Malaysia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Spain, the Czech Republic, the U.S.A. etc. participating in it. The young singers have always taken beautiful memories of Vienna back home with them and many of them have made new and lasting friendships.

"Coming together to sing, singing for a better future" is an excellent motto that means a great deal to us. The participants of the World Peace Choral Festival demonstrate how peaceful and harmonious coexistence of different cultures can work. The festival, its individual events, and all participating choristers thus contribute to not only the promotion of choral music as a common language that everybody understands but also to a better and peaceful world, without bias and prejudice, bridging cultural and ideological divides.

As the festival's patron, I congratulate the World Peace Choral Festival on its 5th anniversary and wish all participants take home inspiring moments, pleasant experiences and unforgettable memories of Vienna.
