Mag.a Dr.in Eliza Marian

At the general meeting, Margret Popper-Appel handed over her position as previous president to Mag.a Dr.in Eliza Marian, who was unanimously elected as her successor. Mag.a Dr.in Eliza Marian completed her studies at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden with a degree in singing and also obtained her doctorate from the University of Vienna. As a committed member of the Vienna State Opera and board member of the Concert Association, Mag.a Dr.in Eliza Marian has already acquired a broad spectrum of knowledge and deepened it on international tours. With Mag.a Dr.in Eliza Marian, the ChorForum Wien gains an experienced and talented president who will continue to officially represent all member choirs in public and support them in choral music matters. The ChorForum Wien will continue to focus on advising, networking, informing and further training choirs, choir conductors and singers.
